Exclusive: Less than three weeks into Cannes, Los Angeles-based Voltage Photo hired industry veteran Benan Guz for VP, international sales and distribution.
Guz recently worked at VMI Worldwide and played a key role in expanding global partnerships, working on international distribution strategies. She reported to Alexandra Cocean, president of Global Sales and Distribution, who announced her employment on Wednesday.
The executive also led international content sales and film production at Film Bridge International. Guz’s career path includes his role as acquisition manager for SinematV, a group of VOD platforms and pay television channels, and as account manager for SPI International.
Cocean said: “Benin is a dynamic and widely respected executive whose deep knowledge of international markets and strong industry-wide relationships are supposed to add her to the team. It’s important as her energy, strategic insights and passion for global content continues to be key.”
