Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) has revealed its corporate banners and executive lineup. The Entertainment Titan will be split into two in mid-2026.
The company’s streaming and studio operations are known as Warner Bros. and consists of Warner Bros. Television, Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, DC Studios, HBO, HBO Max, Warner Bros. Game Studios, and the group’s film and television library. David Zaslav, current WBD president and CEO, will become president and CEO of Warner Bros.
Global Networks Operation is called Discovery Global and includes CNN, US TNT Sports, Discovery, free air channels for groups across Europe, and Discovery+ Streaming Service. Gunnar Wiedenfels, now CFO of WBD, will become the president and CEO of Operations.
Top executives on the streaming and studio side maintain their current job titles. It includes Pam Abdy and Mike De Luca, co-chairs and CEOs of the Warner Bros Motion Picture Group. Casey Bloys, now chairman and CEO of HBO and MAX Content, has become chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO MAX. Channing Dungey, currently chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. TV Group and US Network, is chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. TV Group. JB Perrette, CEO and President of Global Streaming and Games, will become CEO and President of Streaming and Games.
James Gunn and Peter Saffron will retain their titles as co-chairs and CEOs of DC Studios.
