On Tuesday evening, the Nuggets returned home to host the Clippers from Game 5. The series was tied 2-2. In a game that felt like a must-see, the Nuggets’ Jamal Murray had the third highest scoring game of his postseason career. He scored a game-high 43 points when Denver defeated the Clippers 131-115. Jamal Murray scored 43 points against the Clippers in Game 5 on Tuesday. It’s the sixth of his postseason career, over 40 points performance. Murray took part in the 2025 playoffs with a hamstring injury, but has returned to shape. His 43-point explosion on Tuesday was his best game in these playoffs. The 28-year-old was 17-26 from the field and 8-14 beyond the arc.

It was Murray’s third postseason game, with at least eight three pointers being made. He gave him the fifth and fifth in NBA history behind Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, Ray Allen and Steph Curry. Additionally, Murray received seven assists and three steals in Denver’s 131-115 victory. It was a closely contested series between the Nuggets and the Clippers.
