Why is Abe Dio suing Chris Brown?
Dio accused Brown of attacking him with a bottle of tequila at a tape nightclub in London’s Mayfair district in 2023. According to peoplea lawsuit filed by Diaw in November 2023 accused Brown of “breaking” him with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 Tequila. In the lawsuit, Dee alleges that Brown “continued to stomp mercilessly” in “30 seconds,” resulting in him “tearing to his head and tore his ligaments into the hospital.”

Yes, Brown is still in custody by the metropolitan police at the time of publication. Around British SunMet police initially did not disclose Brown’s name, but confirmed that the 36-year-old man had been arrested at a hotel in Manchester on Thursday, May 15th (2025) at 02:00 AM.

A day later, Brown appeared at the Manchester Magistrate’s Court, and according to CNN he was faced with one count of causing serious physical harm to a person. He was ordered to hold his next hearing in London on June 13th, 2025.
Judge Joanne Hurst refused Brown’s request for bail after prosecutor Hannah Nichols pointed out that the alleged crime was “very serious,” according to CNN. Brown is then transferred to South Work Crown Court in London, where he is expected to enter a petition for the charges.
