It’s hard to believe it because it has unforgettable, war-torn levels, environmental destruction, substantial weapon mod systems, and sensory abilities Trench Story It is created by only one developer. This third-person horror shooter gives off a huge resident vibe, but its focus on World War II setting and shooting makes it appealing to fans of Battlefield 1 or Sniper Elite. Now, the creator is looking for playtesters to improve the experience.

Set in an alternative history at the end of World War I, Trench Tales is you, a lonely soldier, exploring, surviving, searching for answers and paths in the devastated, dark areas of Walden. Unlike most war games that are entirely based on realism, there is a mysterious energy and power here. Because the soldiers you encounter are hostile because they are on the other side of the conflict, and because they are resurrected. The dark forces see fallen soldiers returning from the dead, along with some impressive and powerful warlords.

Thanks to Trench Tales’ Gunsmith system, you can not only shake the highly customizable WW1 Wireponry, but also use your own dark magic to induce the ability to help you survive. Whether it heals more quickly, scans enemies, tracks walls, or slows downtime, you can guide this mysterious energy for your own benefit.

It’s not on the exact same scale as the Battlefield series, but it also has environmental damage that can be used. You can also use explosives to blow holes through the walls to create new site lines, or pave the way away from enemy activity hotspots. Please don’t hear the boom.

Developer Talking Drums is an incredible drum in one person’s band and already hosts a playtest of one of the Trench Tales, but now they’re preparing another place. If you join the first one, you will automatically have access to this new test, but it will open up even more, and make new players request access on the Steam page.

According to Talking Drums, the new Playtest for Trench Tales begins on Friday, April 18th and will now close in an unspecified “next week.”
