During the November 2023 CMA Awards, viewers saw Wynonna out of balance and sang on stage. Jelly roll. The next day, Wynonna explained in an Instagram video that she was actually OK, but was “very weird nervous” to perform despite being a singer from the great powers.
“Don’t read comments, I’ve read comments!” she began. “I’m going to be clean with Y’all. I was so nervous. I went out there and saw the jelly roll. I wanted to be very good for him. I went out there and I was so nervous that I just went on a dear life.”
