Want to participate in the Gear of War Reload beta? The iconic cover shooter remake is not officially released until August, but joining Gears of War Reloaded Beta will allow you to get some multiplayer modes in advance.

There are a few provisions to get into the Gears of War reload beta, but for longtime fans, meeting the requirements should be fine. How to participate in the Gears of War Reload Beta
There are three ways to access the Gear of War Reload Beta.
- I own a digital copy of Gears of War.
- Reload a digital copy of Gears of War.
- Have an active PC Game Pass subscription.
Microsoft is sending messages to people who own Gears of War Altimate Edition using reloaded free code that can be played on Xbox X/S and PCs. It’s worth checking your messages using the Xbox app to see if the code was sent. If you redeem the code and get a reloaded digital copy of Gears of War, you will be eligible to participate in the beta version.
You can purchase a physical copy of Gears of War Reoded, but doing so will not allow access to the beta version. Instead, you will need to purchase the game directly from a digital storefront such as Steam, Microsoft Store, or PlayStation Store. If you select this route, it counts as a pre-order and allows you to play the multiplayer beta. Finally, if you have an active PC Game Pass subscription, you can join the beta by searching for games via the Xbox app.
Gears of War Reloaded Beta Dates
The times and dates for the Gear of War Reload beta are as follows:
- Friday, June 13th (12pm Pt / 3pm ET) / 8pm BST) – Sunday, June 15th (12pm Pt / 3pm / 8pm BST)
- Friday, June 20th (12pm Pt / 3pm (ET) / 8pm BST) – Sunday, June 22nd (12pm Pt / 3pm (ET / 8pm) BST)
The first beta weekend features team deathmatches with Gold Rush, Raven Down and Gridlock. On the second weekend, King of the Hill Game Mode will add Canal Hill Game Mode to the mix, while Team Deathmatch Map Pool will expand with the addition of courtyards and war planes.
