Young thug IRST entered the hip-hop scene after signing with Gucci Mane’s 1017 record in 2013. He released his debut mixtape that year, and in 2014 he released his singles “Stoner” and “Danny Glover.” Very funIt was eventually released in 2019.
The rapper (real name Jeffrey Williams) has won several awards for his work and is involved in philanthropy. He joined a campaign to fight for poverty and donated all proceeds from his once sold-out concert to Planned Parenthood. However, in May 2022, the young thug got caught up in Georgia’s longest criminal trial after being arrested on gang-related charges. In October 2024, he was released from prison after pleading guilty to the charges.
